Engineers Northwest, Inc. had its beginnings in 1966 and grew to an eight person firm in 1974 at which time it incorporated and Richard Janke became president.  Robert Raichle and John Alving joined the firm in 1973 and became principals in 1978.  Steven Rex became partner in 1981, Dale Kaemingk and Thomas Wampler in 1990, Jose Parada in 1993 and most recently, D. Allen Tucker in 1999.  Reflecting the steady growth of the firm, today Engineers Northwest has a team of fourteen structural engineers, seven CADD drafters and three administrative staff.  This group has design responsibility for building projects totaling over $400 million each year.
